Our in-home daycare program welcomes children starting at 12 weeks of age. We are proudly licensed by Georgia’s Bright from the Start Department of Early Care and Learning and are an active member of the National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC).
Our family daycare program is designed to preserve and prolong family-care style. It is especially suited for infants and toddlers, offering emotional security from the moment they enter. Children feel safe, welcomed, and curious to explore a wide variety of engaging, age-appropriate activities.
Our daily schedule is quite busy. It is built from a range of activities, some of which are: circle time, balanced physical activities (designed to advance gross and fine motor skills), free play, outside play, social/group games, art works, music, songs, and dance. Above all, we raise readers! Early literacy is at the heart of our program. We read together in groups and encourage children to explore books independently, helping them build a connection to language from the beginning.
As children grow, we introduce new learning opportunities that match their developmental stage. Through play-based activities, puzzles, crafts, and creative exploration, children develop early reasoning, imagination, and problem-solving skills. Peer interaction also helps children build social awareness and develop their unique personalities.
Multicultural education is an important part of our curriculum. We introduce children to foreign languages, international holidays, and diverse cultural traditions to broaden their understanding of the world.
Our goal is to promote wellness and healthy eating from a very early age. Starting at about 6 months of age, in close collaboration with parents, children are gradually introduced to solid foods. We provide home-made, well-balanced, nutritious food for all children at no additional cost. We serve fresh vegetables and fruits daily, always prepared in a safe, age-appropriate fashion.
Bella’s Little Greenhouse is an active member of the National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC).
As a small and nurturing community where children stay for several years (most commonly 3-4 years), we’ve had the joy of welcoming multiple younger siblings of our older kids and graduates. The heart of our success lies in the strong, family-like relationships and genuine partnership with our wonderful parents. Open and honest communication helps us create a loving, supportive team around each child, giving them the greenhouse environment to thrive and you peace of mind.
