Bella’s Little Greenhouse Infant-Toddler in home daycare program serves children from the age of 12 weeks. The program is licensed by Georgia State “Bright From the Start” Department of Early Care and Learning, as well as it is an active member of National Association for Family Daycare. This family daycare program is designed to preserve and prolong family care style. Our small and warm greenhouse environment is perfect for infants and toddlers. It starts from the emotional security which the child feels instantly entering our welcoming and fun classroom, and continues with the curiosity and excitement in lots of fun stuff available for exploration.
Our daily schedule is quite busy. It is built from many activities, some of which are: circle time, balanced physical activities (designed to advance gross and fine motor skills), free play, outside play, social/group games, art works, music, songs and dance. Above all, we raise readers! Hence we emphasize early literature by reading books in a group as well as exploring age appropriate books individually.
As we grow together, new educational opportunities become suitable and new concepts are discovered. We master early reasoning skills via large variety of activities, games and toys. We foster creativity by making crafts, coloring, exploring toddler puzzles and more. In fact, interaction with peers brings new social experiences and, most importantly, building personality.
Multicultural Education is a part of our curriculum. We expose children to foreign languages as well as diverse holidays and traditions.
Without a doubt, our goal is to promote wellness and healthy eating from the very early age. Starting at about 6 months of age, of course in close collaboration with parents, a child gets exposed to solid food. We provide well balanced nutritious food for all children at no additional cost. The majority of the food is homemade. We serve fresh vegetables and fruits daily which are safely meshed or cut into small pieces.
Bella’s Little Greenhouse is an active member of National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC).
